Our hotel, in thypical eolian style, is located at a few meters from the port and it is the ideal solution for couples, young travellers, friends that would fully enjoy Panarea beauties. You can join, walking for few minutes, nightlife, restaurants and minimarkets.
With its 3.5 square km you can walk in the entire island without difficulties.
Live the island and its sea. We suggest Calcara beach and the fabulous Cala junco inlet that seems a natural pool, Punta Milazzese and Zimmari cove.

Panarea
Surrounded by wonderful islets emerging from a blue sea that shines like a sapphire in the sun, Panarea becomes every summer the favourite port of tourists coming from over the world. Its natural charme seduces common travelers and jet set people enough to become the favorite place for VIP and luxurious yachts anchored off its coasts.
The island stars to live very early in the morning and finishes late in the night. Early in the morning you can reach the port and see the fishing boats returning from night fishing trips. Then you can walk in the small streets to admire the white small typical houses, with their blue doors and covered with purple bouganville. You can continue to walk until reaching Punta del Corvo, Panarea highest peak, where you can admire the entire island. Only one panoramic way connects the three important districts crossing it longitudinally.
Bottari Rooms is located in San Pietro area, the centre of Panarea where you can find all restaurants and bars. Here the nightlife takes place and from club to club goes on until the sunrise.

The islands of the wind god Eolo, forged by sea and volcanoes are a place where myth and nature meet themselves.

PANAREA
Panarea is considered a small pearl that shines in the archipelago. A natural casket where all natural colours seem to find their origin. From the red of bouganvilles to the blue of the sea, from the white of the small houses to the orange of sunset.
FILICUDI
Filicudi is the ancient island among the sisters. A small piece of land lying on the sea. The perfect location to isolate from the world. Its caves and its rocks have animal names and daily objects as La Canna rock due to its form or Bue Marino cave the hugest of the eolian islands.
ALICUDI
It has 90.000 y.o. and therefore it is considered the youngest island of the archipelago. Alicudi is not for everybody because it is harsh, bristiling and silent. It is only nature. There are very few houses where fishing simple and hospitable families live.
STROMBOLI
It is famous for its streak of fire, one of the most beautiful natural show of the Mediterranean sea. Looking up you will see “ iddu” the active volcano. Near its coast Strobolicchio, a small volcanic rock with its lighthouse unique in the world.
SALINA
The green island, with cappers and Malvasia wine its name derives from a salted lake. Salina is also famous for the movie “ Il Postino” with Massimo Troisi. It is the perfect island for trekking: the climb to the Monte Fossa delle Felci has to be done once in the life.
LIPARI
The main sister Lipari conjugates nightlife and relax, sea and culture. It is also known for pumice and obsidian stones. To be visited the castle, San Bartolomeo Cathedral and “Quattrocchi” a panoramic point.
VULCANO
Vulcano is the island of the fire god and it is famous for its thermal muds. You can climb the volcano expecially at sunrise or sunset and from the top you will see quite all the archipelago. Vulcano is characterized by its sulphurous smell, black sand and hot wind.

Panarea is dotted with bougainvillea. In the language of flowers, the bougainvillea is a symbol of passion and welcome. That is why in Sicily, and on the Mediterranean coast in general, it is displayed lushly at the entrance to houses.

You can reach Panarea through private helicopter (Air Panarea) from Milazzo, Reggio Calabria, Palermo, Messina and Napoli with hydrofoils or ferries (Siremar-Liberty Lines-Snav.
Bottari Rooms is able to organize transfer from Catania airport to Milazzo where you can decide to take hydrofoil or helicopter to Panarea.
Panarea port can also be reached with private boats that can moor.
